This is the second part of the day we spent in Enoshima with Mayumi, Yuko and Saki.

At Enoshima aquarium, there was clownfish “Nemo”.  Well, we thought this was “Nemo”, but on the sign, it said this looks like one, but actually isn’t.

And right next to that tank, this was swimming and the sign said this is the actual clownfish that became the model of “Nemo”.  Well, I can tell there is a difference, but I went to Wikipedia, and they were both called “clownfish”!!  I think the first one looks more like Nemo, as there wasn’t that much black bit like the second one.  I found some interesting thing on the Wikipedia, though.  They apparently change sex in their life time – few times.  Few of them live in one coral, and the largest one is female, second largest is male, and rest don’t breed.  When the female dies, male becomes female, and the 3rd largest becomes male, and so on.  Quite fascinating!!

There were so many types of jellyfish in this aquarium.  I love jellyfish!!  I have never seen so many different types of jellyfish in one aquarium . . .  Here is one that looked so fine and delicate.

These ones looked quite amazing as well!!

Well, I took lots of video footage as well – but there will be forever downloading for you, so I decided to just pick two of them out :)  You don’t have to watch them if you don’t want to, of course, but they are soothing . . .

I remember mentioning in the previous aquarium experience that I wished I had a video to film squid swimming – well, I found them in this aquarium as well, so here we go!!

I think you had enough video footage for today :)  Here is the photo of soft coral attached to the glass!  I love soft coral movement – it’s soothing as well.  But it was fascinating to see the soft coral attached to the glass sheet that’s in front of me!!

This tank is very tall.  Mass-wise, Sydney aquarium large tank is probably bigger, but this one is definitely deeper!  It was so pretty, I took a photo with flash and another one without.  Here is the one with flash –

And here is the one without!

I gave boys their sandwich while we were still in aquarium, but adults got hungry eventually, so we went to near by “Hawaiian” restaurant.  They did have some Hawaiian food, but their most popular dish was curry . . .  They had quite a few different types of curry!  I don’t think that’s Hawaiian!!  Zac, of course, is LOVING his “chippies”.  This one was garlic flavour, and I loved it, too!

Zac and Saki got along well.  They loved playing together!  Saki only just turned 2 in May, but I think their mental age is about the same . . .

Where is Fidel?  Here he is!!  He had his sandwich in aquarium, so as soon as we left there, he got bored and fell asleep before we got to the restaurant which was just across the road!

Mayumi is so good with kids.  She was entertaining both Zac and Saki when they were bored after the meal.

After we left the restaurant, we strolled around the beach.  This was probably the first time I went to the beach in Japan since I moved to Australia, and I was shocked how dark the sand was!!  It’s dark grey!!  I should be more thankful for the beautiful beaches we have back home :)  According to Yuko, Saki couldn’t walk on the beach before this day.  Mayumi and Zac’s existence helped!!
