The day after we went to Disneyland, on Friday 2nd, Mayumi and I took the boys to Enoshima.  Enoshima is more than 2 hours away, if we had to take the normal public transport, but mum gave us a lift to the closest Odakyu line station, and we took “Romance Car” which is their special express, so it only took about an hour and a half.  It isn’t a bullet train, but I told Zac that it was “Shinkansen”, as he really wanted to get on one and couldn’t tell the difference anyway.  He was sooooo excited all the way!!

He was a bit disappointed when it all came to an end.  Unfortunately, there wasn’t one available on the way back until 7pm, so we caught normal train home.

This was taken at the Enoshima station.  It’s supposed to be opposite – male and female-wise, but Zac was too short to get to male hole, so they swapped :)

Finally, we could catch up with Yuko and Saki, her daughter this day!  After two cancellations, it was so close to coming back to Australia, I thought we might miss them this time!  They took us to the near by aquarium.  Fidel loved watching all the fish!  When we drop Zac off at preschool, Fidel loves going to the fish tank to watch all the fish swimming, and same thing happened here – he wouldn’t move from one spot!  I had to drag him away, so I can show him other fish tanks!!  He got the idea in the end!

He loved the seals, too!  They were HUGE (when they are next to Fidel)!

Zac was watching sharks.  I wonder whether he understands they are supposed to be dangerous fish!  I suppose even if he could swim in the ocean, he wouldn’t go anywhere near any fish anyway . . .

I don’t know what this fish is, but I took a photo of it, as it was strange looking . . .

We walked across outside to go to dolphin stadium and saw Enoshima on our left.  It’s an island connected to the main land by bridge.

At the dolphin stadium, Zac wouldn’t come down lower from the very top of the stadium because of the previous experience . . . yes, when we got drenched by a little whale!!  I told him we weren’t going to get wet this time, and he wouldn’t trust me!!

Finally, here is Yuko and Saki!!  They live really close by, so they have been here many times.  This time, I made sure we sat high enough, so we wouldn’t get splashed any water at all, but look at boys’ face!  Fidel was in tears and Zac still wouldn’t trust me!!!  I guess, I don’t really blame them after the experience in Shinagawa . . .

They did eventually started to enjoy the show.  It wasn’t that exciting show, as the pool is small, but they had little whale as well, and it jumped really well considering how small the tank was!!  Here is the video clip of the little bit of the show – enjoy!
